cooking tips and tricks

Food Network BBQ contest series' new season features new contestants as well as new chef lineups. But, the judges remain the exact same. The competition will be judged once again by Carson Kressley and Rodney Scott. Brooke Williamson also serves as a judge. This time around, they'll be judging a new category - sauces! This show should not be missed! Watch the Food Network to discover which chef takes home the top prize.

Erica Blaire Roby

Roby's recent appearance on Blue Smoke Grill, a Food Network program, shows that she has more to cooking than many people think. She trained under some of the biggest names in the business and has even won a $7,500 grant from the Preserve the Pit fellowship program. Competing against the best barbecue chefs in America, Roby put her skills to the test. Roby endured the pain despite a cut finger.

Roby graduated in psychology and worked as a psychologist as well as as a criminal defense counsel. Before competing on Food Network she spent time as a sommelier pairing wines with food. This work gave her the opportunity to rediscover her passion for cooking and for the kitchen. Roby was raised in a barbecue house, and her love of the grill is a natural result.

Roby started cooking barbecue, despite having a career in law. After hearing her father dream of opening a barbecue restaurant, she was inspired to pursue the dream. Roby enrolled in the celebrity pitmaster Harry Soo's barbecuing cooking course in 2018. After completing the course, Roby was certified as a pitmaster and began work in a barbecue restaurant.

Her love of barbecue began as a hobby. But, she soon became obsessed with barbecue. In the beginning, she cooked on her back patio. Later, she competed in barbecue contests across the nation, cooking alongside world-famous pitmasters. Since then, she has launched a series of pop-ups around Dayton, Ohio. She hopes to one day open a food truck.

Team Brawl vs. Team Brawl vs.

Food Network BBQ Team Brawl will host its third season. Two of the top chefs in the country will compete to win the ultimate grilling title. Anne Burrell and Jet Tila will be taking on Bobby Flay, Anne and Team Anne in an unforgettable dinner-party brawl. Matt Roth, a favorite of "BBQ Brawl", returns to the Austin-based Smokin Beauty along with his wife Thao.

Ann explained to the contestants what she was making, while Jet (from Food Network BBQ Team Brawl) let them choose. The result was that Team Bobby lost his ceviche, and Jet dropped some meat. Team Anne now has a significant advantage. Anne even leapt down on Team Bobby's throat while he was reaching to get an ingredient.

Like all Food Network competitions there are many familiar faces in the new season BBQ Team Brawl. Lee Ann Whippen has been competing in barbecuing over 23 years and will serve as Team Anne's judge. Her business responsibilities include managing Deviled Pig Tampa and serving as a judge for Kansas City Barbecue Society. She has been a star on television shows such as Throwdown with Bobby Flay and BBQ Pitmasters, and has won numerous state and international barbecue championships.

Flay, Symon and others fought for the best BBQ sandwich. Lee Ann chose a traditional approach to the sandwich while Susie chose an exotic one. Although the judges liked her pork belly mi, they thought it was too thick. Team Anne's hamburger was tasty, juicy, and served on a solid bun.
